Engineered for Heavy-Duty Marine Propeller Manufacturing & Specialized Surface Restorations

As the manufacturing and technical team behind FUJI GRINDING WHEEL, we know firsthand the challenges our clients face in modern shipyards. Marine propellers are made from several alloy families, including copper-based nickel-aluminum bronze (NAB); some applications use stainless steel. Select the abrasive for the actual propeller alloy, repair procedure and required surface finish.
Copper-alloy propellers can load abrasives formulated for ferrous metals. Loading depends on the abrasive blend, bond, tool speed, contact pressure and alloy. Manual grinding can help operators follow complex propeller contours, while material removal must remain within the approved manufacturing or repair procedure.
Backed by over 70 years of precision Japanese engineering, our own factories proudly manufacture the HGC-3902 300Hz 180mm High-Frequency Angle Grinder. Designed with a brushless, commutator-free asynchronous motor, it is designed for demanding industrial grinding with a correctly matched high-frequency power supply. It is built strictly Made in Japan to serve as the backbone tool for elite foundries worldwide.

Rated input power is 2600W. Net weight is 4.8kg without the cord; these figures do not represent measured output power or a comparative fatigue test.

| Recommended Media | FUJI Custom Marine Propeller Grinding Disc (180 × 3.5 × 22.23 mm): Special abrasive blend for copper-alloy propeller grinding. Confirm the wheel marking, maximum operating speed, mounting compatibility and permitted grinding face before use. |
Conventional aluminum-oxide or zirconia grinding discs formulated for steel and cast iron may load or smear when used on copper-alloy propellers. Abrasive grain type alone does not determine suitability: the complete grain blend, bond and wheel structure must match the workpiece.
FUJI offers a dedicated 180 × 3.5 × 22.23 mm marine propeller grinding disc. Its special formulation combines silicon carbide, zirconia and other abrasive grains with FUJI proprietary warm-press manufacturing and tooling. A thinner profile and deeper surface pattern are designed to support heat dissipation during propeller grinding.
Propeller manufacturers and repair workshops are welcome to contact FUJI for an application trial. Provide the propeller alloy, grinder model, operating speed and required finish so that our team can confirm the appropriate wheel. Use only the working face and operating conditions specified for that wheel; do not treat a grinding disc as a cut-off wheel.
We don't just test our tools in the lab. The FUJI HGC-3902 solves critical bottleneck problems across global heavy-industrial sectors:

FUJI is a well-known Japanese manufacturer of abrasives and power tools. Our sub-brand KOSOKU produced Japan’s first angle grinder, and our history now spans more than 70 years. FUJI KOSOKU is expanding its international support to meet demand for 300Hz, 200V high-frequency angle and straight grinders in heavy-duty grinding.
By leveraging a dual-supply chain framework—with wholly-owned factories in Japan—we guarantee top-tier Japanese quality control alongside world-class volume capacity. We don't just sell hardware; we deliver a deeply integrated, perfectly matched grinding system optimized for your toughest alloys.
Fuji products are manufactured following strict Japanese standard process requirements. Every wheel is engineered to meet or exceed JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards), such as JIS R 6242 and B 4051. Our core engineering logic prioritizes maximum operator protection by maintaining safety factors and burst speed capabilities that often surpass the highest industry benchmarks.
| Standard Region | Safety Factor (Burst Multiplier) | Safety Logic & Benchmark |
|---|---|---|
| FUJI (High Precision) | > 2.0x | Engineered to exceed JIS requirements for maximum reliability. |
| Japan (JIS R 6242) | 2.0x | Extreme Safety: A wheel rated at 80m/s must withstand a 160m/s burst test. |
| Europe (EN 12413) | 1.73x | Risk Balanced: Provides high safety redundancy for most industrial apps. |
| USA (ANSI B7.1) | 1.5x | Efficiency Focused: Relies on machine guarding and operational procedures. |

When deploying Fuji high-performance tools in overseas markets, ensure that the regional power grid frequency and voltage match the tool specifications. To maintain the superior burst speed safety of Fuji wheels, store abrasives in a dry, temperate environment. Humidity can degrade the resin bond, potentially lowering the wheel’s resistance to centrifugal forces.
This product strictly complies with the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Technology Standards (Noise Countermeasures), revised under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Ordinance No. 57.
*Official Enforcement Date: April 1, 2013. This ensures maximum electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and operational stability in industrial environments.

Professional Note: For global industrial procurement, these Japanese METI standards ensure that Fuji tools meet high-level noise reduction requirements, critical for precision workshops across Europe and North America.
